After months of working on the movie, The Bling Lagosians, the directorial debut of Bolanle Austen-Peters, premiered at the Fim House Cinema, Lekki, Lagos.
The movie stars big names such as Mona Lisa Chinda, Alex Ekubo, Jide Kosoko, Gbenga Titiloye, Elvina Ibru, Helen Paul, Osas, Toyin Abraham and former Big brother Housemates, Bisola and Bambam among others. The movie was met with raving reviews, with the general consensus that this is the best Nollywood movie released of 2019, with intricacies that run deep and with a well paced out story line filled with lessons. Although laced with humour, and some exceptionally funny moments, the movie deals with serious subject matters that will leave viewers thinking twice about Lagos party lifestyle as well as giving a deeper insight into the Lagos elite’s lifestyle.
