Olusegun Obasanjo, a former president of Nigeria has debunked the claim that he was sent to Paris, France to testify against an ex-Minister of Power, Olu Agunloye at the ongoing arbitration for the controversial $6 billion Mambilla Power Project.

Setting the record straight, the former president said he was not in any influenced by President Bola Tinubu or any other government official on the arbitration of botched agreement with the Federal Government. “I decided to testify because of the statement made on the matter by Olu Agunloye. I considered his claims atrocious and thought it necessary to set the records straight,' Obasanjo added.
