Judges of the Federal High Court of Nigeria are to proceed on their 2024 yearly vacation from July 23, according to the Chief Judge, Justice John Terhemba Tsoho.
He explained that the recess is pursuant to provisions of Order 46, Rule 4 of the Federal High Court Rules 2019.Formal court sittings are to resume on Monday, September 16.
According to the statement, the Abuja division would be manned by Justices Emeka Nwite and Peter O. Lifu as vacation judges. Abia State Information and Culture Commissioner, Okey Kanu, yesterday, announced the suspension of the Commissioner for Health, Dr Ngozi Okoronkwo, with effect from Monday June 10, 2024.
