POLITICS NIGERIA reports that recently, Professor Charles Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, called on the FG to

, leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra . Soludo offered to stand as surety for Kanu who has been in the custody of the Department of State Services since June 2021.in a recent interview what his advice to President Muhammadu Buhari would be, Malami said: “There is no such request formally before the federal government or the judicial process.

“As of today, I am not in receipt of any application arising from the public statement made by the governor of Anambra State , either through the judicial process or extended to me as the Attorney General of the Federation . “When a matter is pending before the court, the right channel through which any request or perhaps concession can be presented for consideration is through the judicial process.

“The renewed call for Nnamdi Kanu’s release has not been invoked formally for the consideration of the Attorney-General.”
