The Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, has called on tax administrators in the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria to work towards finding lasting solutions to the revenue challenges the country is currently facing.
The statement by the Director Information, Press and Public relations, Office of the AGF, Henshaw Ogubike, was titled ‘Dwindling revenue: AGF Idris solicits active involvement of tax administrators in finding solutions’. The statement said, “Idris tasked the professional tax practitioners and administrators to deploy their expertise to assist the government at all levels uncover new frontiers that can be explored to shore up the dwindling finances.
