A total of 1,600 persons living with disability in the 16 local government areas of Kwara State will benefit from the three-month Federal Government’s special public works programme.
Chairman of the Committee appointed to supervise the programme in the state, Mr Oluwasegun Oyewo, disclosed this on Wednesday while speaking with leaders of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disability in Ilorin.
The Federal Government planned to recruit 774,000 people with 1,000 recruit in each of the 774 local governments across the country.
