The disinfection teams of the Federal Government have been dispatched to states and are currently decontaminating selected locations in a bid to halt the spread of COVID-19.
It was also gathered on Tuesday that the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has begun the fumigation of airports.
He disclosed this at the daily briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 while speaking on areas that were being decontaminated in Nigeria. “Over the weekend, they decontaminated and disinfected the Nigerian Defence Academy, the courts around that area and some other places. The minister said the disinfection exercise had continued in Lagos, adding that states in the North-East would be disinfected next week.
