THE President, Major General Muhammad Buhari , has pledged that his regime would boost internal security by establishing training facilities for the police and other security outfits in all the geo-po
litical zones of the country.
Represented at the event by the Minister of Police Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Dingyadi, Buhari said it was the policy thrust of his administration to modernise internal security network in line with international best practices. “This training facility is of great significance as it adds to the existing one in Gwoza in Borno State and that of Ira in Ogun State,” he added.
The governor said, “I have been battling with the activities of the Islamic sects; Darul-Salam and Hakika in Toto and Awe Local Government areas of the State.
