To improve the governance of health research in Nigeria, the Federal Government on Friday in Lagos unveiled the National Health Research Ethics Committee Electronic Portal.

Describing it as a “remarkable milestone”, Alausa commended them for their assistance in developing the platform. Continuing, he stated that the latest innovation would enhance Nigeria’s competitiveness in the global health research arena, paving the way for data-driven innovation and advancements in clinical practice.

The new e-portal will eliminate such issues and reduce the use of papers, as well as streamline the protocol submission, review, and approval processes.
