FG Declares Thursday, Friday Public Holidays via thisdaylive
The Federal Government has declared Thursday and Friday as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a statement signed by the permanent secretary, Ministry of Interior, Ms. Georgina Ehuriah, the minister called on Muslims to continue to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, kindness and sacrifice, as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad. The statement read: “The Federal Government has declared Thursday 30th and Friday 31st July, 2020 as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
