Rangers head coach, Abdul Maikaba, believes that their Federation Cup walkover win against Adamawa United is a blessing for his team.
The Flying Antelopes were scheduled to face Adamawa United in the Round of 64 on Tuesday but the Nigeria National League side failed to show up for the game. Maikaba said the failure of their opponent to show up for the game in Abuja has kept his players fresh for their next Nigeria Premier Football League encounter against WIkki Tourists.“Adamawa United failed to show up for this fixture without any communication.
“This situation will, to a great extent, help us in our weekend’s league fixture against Wikki Tourists which is a must-win for us.”
