The federal government has directed the opening of a bridge in Lagos to ease traffic congestion. The bridge is undergoing rehabilitation work due to underwater damage.

On Thursday, David Umahi, minister of works, directed Olukorede Kesha, the federal controller of works in Lagos , to open the bridge.Umahi said the federal government has commenced the second phase of rehabilitation work which involves the underwater damage to the bridge.“Minister of Works, His Excellency, Senator David Nweze Umahi, in a phone call in the early hours of today, directed the controller of works, Lagos State, Engr Mrs O.I.
