“The second approval is for the construction of a 93km transmission line at Oji River/9th Mile for the 132-kilo volt double circuit transmission line at a cost of $33.9 million and N10.1 million naira,” Adelabu said. This, he said, is a response to the impact of vandalism on power transmission assets, especially in the northeast, where a blackout has persisted for the last two weeks because of the vandalism.
