State Publicity Secretaries of the All Progressives Congress in the South-West Zone have applauded the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, CON.
Responding, Dr. Fayemi assured that he was ready to be at the forefront of campaigns to ensure victory for the candidates of his party in the 2023 general election.
“We should do everything possible to ensure the nation continues its journey along the path of stability, prosperity and greatness,” he added. “As a progressive party, populated by resourceful and passionate patriots, we must ensure that no stone is left unturned to mobilize support for our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is the best among the pack of those seeking to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in office come May 2023. We have the wherewithal to run a successful campaign for our president and other candidates. The presidential election, in particular, is ours to lose.

2023 presidential election and what it’s all aboutOver half of the time of my life I have spent outside of Nigeria. My individual economy is not tweaked tough by either the ugly or beautiful state of the Nigerian economy. A good or bad government in the country really makes not much difference to many I know because they dwell abroad. Several times, I have attempted to slaughter the love in my heart because of gory glitches we sporadically run into. But, killing Nigeria in our hearts and minds is not just possible. Who and who not is president, and where and where not he is from, have not been the determining factors for the expression of that love that has been in existence before some of these so-called leaders were conceived in their mothers’ womb. Nigeria is home.
