The Ojomu Royal family in Lagos State has asked the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), to intervene in the land-grabbing activities in the Eti-Osa/Chevron Estate in the state.
“After spending the night in police custody, the Ojomu Royal family was able to bail out the arrested 9 workers. Ever since then the police had remained on the site since December 18th, 2022 till date without leaving. They caution they will gun down anyone who moves close to the property of which our client Mr Ibrahim does not receive any invitation from the police or the bank nor any investigation was done before policemen were sent to take over the Chevron site.
“Why declare Mr Ibrahim that has spent over N700 million on a property a land grabber and wanted? The Ojomu Royal family categorically says that Mr Ibrahim is never a land grabber. This is a man known as a serial entrepreneur; He has an investment in real estate, having managed many estates in Lagos; health, oil and gas, tech, and airline investors. He has no criminal record not to talk of grabbing land.
