Family of the late Big Brother Naija Star, Patrick Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey, has called for an investigation over the handling of the deceased after he was involved in a car accident on October 11, 2022.
The family said when the first respondent realised that Doren Hospital was not willing to attend to their son, he took Rico to Ever care, and that in less than five minutes, a doctor came to tell him that he needed to deposit N4.2 million. Speaking on behalf of the family Mayo Dele, said: “They demanded for N4.2 million, but we paid N3.5 million, they used N1,981,782.37 and they were supposed to refund N1.5 million, but they are yet to refund after they promised to three weeks ago.
When The Guardian reached out to Evercare Hospital through its support centre, it states: “I do not have information as regards this, you can kindly send a mail to [email protected].
