The family of late Nigerian boxer and coach, Jeremiah Okorodudu, has announced the details of his burial rites, The PUNCH reports.
Okorodudu, 64, a renowned ex-pro boxer and former national coach, passed away at the Brighton Hospital in Surulere, Lagos, last week, following a long battle with illness.
He was a gold medallist for defunct Bendel State during the Oluyole 1979 National Sports Festival in Ibadan, before going on to represent Nigeria at the Los Angeles ’84 Olympics, where he reached the quarter-finals. His contributions to Nigerian boxing and his remarkable accomplishments made him a revered figure in the sports community.All rights reserved.
