The lawyer, in a letter written to the Senate President, yesterday, dated March 27, 2024 said suspension of Senator Ningi and the denial of his entitlements were illegal and unconstitutional. The Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre has stated that the current insecurity ravaging the South East region should not solely be blamed on the pro-Biafra groups agitating for the actualisation of Biafra.A year after the 2023 general elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission and about 16 political parties are yet to make public their election expenses as mandated by the Electoral Act 2022.
