Some data analysts in the country have decried the rising misinformation and fake news as the country prepares for the 2023 general elections.
He said, “We are alarmed by the fake news and misinformation flying around as we go into the 2023 elections. We are more worried that the APC presidential candidate has been at the receiving end of most of the fake news, misinformation, and even smear campaigns.
“The Data Analytics Group for Asiwaju is a team of Data Analysts from every part of the country. We will be using data-gathering tools like Social Media Data Analytics to help highlight and pinpoint where to focus our energy when it comes to issues like hate speech, fake news, and unconfirmed information during the upcoming election.
“The Social Media Data Analytics is a breakdown of common and relevant interests which will cover a wide geographic area. “Therefore, the SMDA will identify common interests and preferences of a specific area of people and allow the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council to tailor communication and campaign strategies in a way that targets the electorates to produce desired results i.e to increase awareness for more votes.”All rights reserved.
