MANILA, Philippines – San Miguel Beermen center June Mar Fajardo has won his seventh PBA Most Valuable Player award.
Aside from the MVP award, Fajardo was also part of the PBA’s First Mythical Five and the All-Defensive Team. An emotional Fajardo said he dedicates his latest MVP win to his late mother.“I did not expect that I will be getting another MVP, because when I was injured, to tell you the truth, I did not expect that I can still compete at this level again,” the soft-spoken said in Filipino.He also called this MVP win the most memorable. “I will push myself further to improve more.
