Former Premier League legend, Roy Keane has shared his opinion on why Arsenal were defeated by Manchester City in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday.
The Gunners fell 1-0 to their biggest Premier League title rivals this season, thanks to Nathan Ake’s second half strike. Keane believes that the Gunners lost their shape for ten to fifteen minutes and Pep Guardiola’s side capitalised on that to punish the Premier League leaders.“But just before that, there was a lapse. They were having a breather at just the wrong time. There was poor communication from the centre-halves to the midfielders.
“They switched off and that will be a big concern. I expected more from Arsenal tonight but they were disappointing.”
