June 21, 2023 5:05 PMThe magistrate court in Ile Ife, Osun, has remanded one Taofeek Ahmed for allegedly assaulting a police officer while resisting arrest over refusal to pay for the doughnuts he bought.
He added that Ahmed conducted himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace when he refused to pay for N1000 worth of doughnuts he bought from one Mary Afolabi. “The defendant bought doughnuts worth N1000 from one Miss Mary Afolabi without paying her,” the prosecutor told the court.AdvertisementHe told the court that the offences contravened the provisions of the criminal code, laws of Osun state, 2002.
