Incredible moment a fireball comet is spotted racing past stunning aurora towards Earth
AN EXPERT has issued an update on the chances of seeing a "Halloween comet" very soon and the outlook isn't good., also known as Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, was visible across parts of the UK and US leaving a long orange tail in its path as it passed overhead.
Officially known as C/2024 S1 , the comet is actually a fragment of a much bigger comet that broke apart more than a thousand years ago.People had October 28 marked in their calendars to see the comet. “There’s just as good a chance it falls apart before its close encounter with the sun on Oct. 28, and that would result in virtually nothing being visible afterward in November," Dr Zhang told
