La exasistente ejecutiva principal de Robert De Niro dijo que le pareció “espeluznante” cuando el actor insistió en que le rascara la espalda, un ejemplo de comportamiento que calificó de controlador y abusivo antes de renunciar a su trabajo en 2019, testificó en un juicio civil en Nueva York.
En un día completo de testimonio, Graham Chase Robinson se vio conmovida varias veces el viernes al afirmar que el trauma que soportó antes de dejar de trabajar para De Niro en 2019, después de 11 años, la dejó desempleada y deprimida. “Estaba sufriendo un colapso emocional y mental. No estaba comiendo. No estaba durmiendo. No pude correr. Me sentía abrumada”, dijo al jurado en un tribunal federal de Manhattan. “Sentí que había tocado fondo”.
También afirmó que nunca le gritó justo antes de hacerlo en el tribunal, cuando exclamó: ”¡Qué vergüenza, Chase Robinson!”. Rápidamente se disculpó por el exabrupto.
