Former Ambassador Justina Eze sues an old-generation bank over a missing box of jewellery worth approximately N1 billion kept in its Enugu branch.

The Guardian gathered that Eze, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party , had purchased the deposit safe box and packaged the collections on the eve of her departure to Cape Verde upon appointment as ambassador in 1999, and moved it to the branch of the bank for safe keeping in company of her daughter, Dr. Chinwe Eze-Boulhassance.
