Former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Abubakar Sadique and the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Hajia Sadiya Umar, have been urged to respond to the
various allegations of corruption, human rights abuses, unlawful recruitment and arming of youths in Bauchi State.
CTN said it has received several allegations levelled against Sadique, which can be described as a crime against humanity and a threat to society. “In Borno in 2020, a fighter jet hit Sakotoku hamlet, killing about 17 people—including children. At least 176 Nigerians have died as a result of these incidents, and hundreds more have been hurt.
CTN also disclosed how the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno, revealed how funds in billions of naira meant for the purchase of weapons under the past Service Chiefs, including Sadique, were unaccounted for.with crimes related to alleged extrajudicial killings and violations of human rights.
