Europa League: Solskjaer delivers bad news about Rashford injury ahead of Club Brugge tie
Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has admitted he is not sure Marcus Rashford will play for the club this season.
Solskjaer, speaking to the media ahead of their Europa League trip to Club Brugge, also suggested Rashford could miss this summer’s European Championships. The England striker has already missed a month, after suffering a double stress fracture in his back. Solskjaer says Rashford will spend more time on the sidelines, because his recovery is taking longer than expected.“I’m not a doctor, but I was hoping he would recover quicker than it actually looks like. He’s going be out for another few months, definitely.
“He had a scan and it was maybe more severe, that fracture, than what we hoped for and expected,” Solskjaer said.
