The Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, has turbaned 17 new village heads from across the Bida
Speaking after turbaning them in his palace in Bida, Bida Local Government Area, he said the security of the lives and property of residents of the various communities is paramount.
According to him, “this is the only way their domains can achieve the desired level of development considering the current realities of myriads of challenges facing the country and the strategic positions of traditional rulers”. Others are Zhiluko, Alh. Umaru Adamu; Kpatagi, Alh. Mohammed Kudu; Kagowogi, Zubairu Umaru; Emiwoshi, Ibrahim Zubairu; Dagba, Aliyu Goyi; Alh. Mohammed Kudu, Ma’agi Buku; Alh. Mohammed, Bazhi and Alh. Man Yahaya,
He also commended people in the kingdom for their support of his peace agenda, urging them to shun acts capable of tarnishing the image of the area.
