Items donated were twenty bags of rice, five hundred cartons of garri mix, two hundred and fifty cartons of wheat flour, fifty cartons of tomato paste and fifty cartons of seasoning cube.
Umeofia represented by Nnamdi Nwokolo said he donated the palliatives to complement the efforts of the state government in fighting the pandemic and urged residents to comply with laid down directives for the interest of all.
Receiving the items, secretary to the state government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu thanked Umeofia for his gesture.
