EPL: Why Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea don’t have Premier League fixtures this weekend
However, it will be very different from what happens in other countries.
Eight teams will be in action on Saturday and Sunday, while the other 12 complete Match Day 26 next weekend. This means, for instance, that Chelsea and Manchester United will have a full 15 days off, before they clash at Stamford Bridge.Arsenal are also using the break for warm-weather training in Dubai, as Mikel Arteta prepares his side for the final three months of a strange campaign. The only top-six team in action this weekend, will be champions Manchester City, who host West Ham at the Etihad.
