At least three clubs will be in the race to land Erik ten Hag, if he is sacked by Manchester United at the end of the season.

Ten Hag is likely to be given until May to prove to new co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, that he is the right man to oversee a rebuild at Old Trafford. Reports this week have linked current England manager Gareth Southgate with the United hot seat. It is rumoured that Southgate will seek a new challenge after Euro 2024. But for Ten Hag, he will not be short of suitors, according to the Daily Star.

The 54-year-old is believed to still have many admirers in the Bundesliga. Ten Hag worked at Bayern Munich earlier in his career and the German giants could turn to him, should they fail to land No.1 target Xabi Alonso.
