Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has insisted that the Premier League title is still within their reach, following a 2-0 win at Newcastle United on Sunday.
Martin Odegaard scored the opening goal in the first half, before Fabian Schar’s own goal sealed the points for the Gunners.
The result takes Arsenal to 81 points, one less than Manchester City who have one outstanding fixture. When asked what message his team had sent their rivals, Arteta said: “That we are there, that we want to keep digging. The prize is there, not too far. “The only thing we can do is keep and not turn our backs and lose focus on something else. Be determined every single day. Let’s keep going and see what happens.”
