EPL table: Liverpool defeat Chelsea to go top of Premier League

Liverpool returned to the top of the Premier League, following a 2-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday.

The Reds came into the game in second place, following Manchester City’s 3-1 victory at Crystal Palace in the first fixture of the day.However, Sadio Mane opened scoring after the break, heading in Jordan Henderson’s cross at the far post.The win takes Jurgen Klopp’s men up to 85points, two more than City, although Pep Guardiola’s side have one outstanding game.
