Two goals from Isak and Gordon in either half gave the Magpies the victory ahead of the second leg in February. Arsenal missed a couple of chances to score, with Kai Havertz being the biggest culprit.
Reacting, Oliseh, in a tweet via his X account after the game, heaped praises on Isak and Gordon. 'Sad day for Arsenal fans losing out to Newcastle, but I strongly feel these two players, Isak and Gordon of Newcastle, are arguably the most exciting duo and slightly most underrated players of the Premier League this season. 'Just love the variety they bring each game, and Isak is currently my favorite player of the Premier League.
