EPL: Real Madrid set deadline for signing Hazard from Chelsea
Real Madrid are hoping to agree a deal with Chelsea to sign Eden Hazard before the end of the season, according to The UK Telegraph.
The Blancos are preparing to make a fresh move for the 28-year-old this week, with the Belgian intent on not signing a new deal with Chelsea.The 28-year-old wanted to move to the Bernabeu last summer following Belgium’s third place finish at Euro 2018, but Maurizio Sarri convinced him to stay at Stamford Bridge for one more season.
However, Hazard has less than 15 months to run on his existing deal and has made it clear he does not want to sign an extension, despite the Blues offering him around £300,000-a-week.
