Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has refused to blame Moises Caicedo following their 3-1 loss at West Ham on Sunday. It was his first appearance for Chelsea since they agreed a British record transfer fee of £115 million with Brighton for the Ecuadorian.
The 21-year-old looked rusty and conceded the penalty for the Hammers’ third goal which was scored by Lucas Paqueta. When asked about Caicedo’s debut for the club, Pochettino told reporters after the match: “He did well. Many positive things. Last minute, we conceded a goal, so we can’t say nothing is wrong.”
