Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has named three signings Chelsea should make to compete for title next season. Chelsea are currently in 9th position on the Premier League table with 48 points from 33 games. The Blues will finish this current season trophyless.
They were defeated in the EFL Cup final against Liverpool and the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City. Speaking on his podcast, Neville said the west London club should sign a striker, centre-back to replace Thiago Silva and a goalkeeper in a bid to challenge for title next season.
The former defender said : 'Going back to it, if they can get those right three players in at the start of the season, the striker, the centre-back to replace Thiago and the goalkeeper I think as well, those three positions come in and they have got to deal with the James-Chilwell thing because that is a sort of a blow every single season. 'They have to cope with the idea that they are losing these two. I don’t know how they deal with that, but they could deal with it.
