Former Man United midfielder, Owen Hargreaves has backed the Red Devils to win the Premier League title this season.
Hargreaves believes it is possible Man United can win the Premier League title this season but admitted that a top-four finish and a trophy would be a success for them.Erik ten Hag’s side are level on points with third-position Newcastle United with a game in hand.Discussing United’s title chances on talkSPORT, Hargreaves said: “It’s possible [for Man United to win the title], but I think if Manchester United can win a trophy and finish in the top four, I think that is a very good season.
“They’re the only team left in all four competitions [Premier League, Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Europa League]. “It looks like they can win a trophy. It feels like they’re in a good place where they can go and win something, it has been the first time in a long time. The league would be incredible, but finishing inside the top four and winning a trophy would be incredible.”
