Chelsea legend, Juan Sebastian Veron, has said that he did not expect his compatriot Mauricio Pochettino to become Chelsea’s manager.
He, however, said he expects the former Tottenham boss to bring back Chelsea to the Champions League football like he did at Spurs. Veron said that although the Blues have good quality young players, Pochettino must go for more experience in his squad.The former Argentina international said that he later noticed that Pochettino had a profile which suited being a manager and has the ability to coach players on an individual level.
“He did great things at Tottenham and eventually reached the Champions League. So I expect this will happen for him, eventually!”
