However, Martinelli will not be available for selection, after suffering ankle ligament damage, ESPN reports. The 21-year-old limped off in the 20th minute of their 3-0 home defeat to Brighton last Sunday after a challenge by Moises Caicedo.Martinelli, who scored 15 times in the league, is expected to be sidelined for several weeks. But early indications are he will return for Arsenal’s pre-season in July, assuming there are no setbacks in his recovery.
