Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has identified Marcus Rashford as the Red Devils teammate he enjoys playing with. Hojlund described Rashford as a world-class footballer, despite the English forward's recent struggles. The 20-year-old joined Man United in the summer from Serie A side Atalanta for £72 million.
The Danish attacker became the club's most expensive U-21 signing in history. Hojlund has started his Man United career strongly with three goals in two UEFA Champions League group-stage games, but his striking partner Rashford has faltered.
recalls that Rashford enjoyed a remarkable 2022–2023 campaign, scoring 30 goals and 11 assists in 56 games across all competitions for Man United. However, he has started the ongoing season with just one goal and three assists in 10 games across competitions for Erik ten Hag’s side. 'He is a world-class football player,” Hojlund told Danish newspaper Tipsbladet. 'I enjoy playing with a player like him.
