Former Liverpool defender, Jose Enrique has insisted that Brighton midfielder, Moises Caicedo will be so mad after his failed attempt at a move to Arsenal
Caicedo was the subject of interest from both Arsenal and Chelsea last month.Caicedo even posted on his social media account, urging Brighton to allow him to leave in the 2023 January transfer window.
However, the Seagulls were adamant that they did not want to sell the Ecuador international in mid-season. The 21-year-old will now stay at Brighton and see out the season and Enrique believes the player will be unhappy with the situation. Enrique commented on a post by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Instagram on Wednesday: “He will be so mad. But the club has the power. You are under contract and they don’t want to let you leave in the middle of the season. So, it’s fair enough from Brighton’s side.”
