Chelsea midfielder, Cole Palmer, is set to be available for next Saturday's Premier League clash against Arsenal. Palmer will however be unavailable for England’s European Championship qualifier against Ukraine. He picked up a knock during the first half of a 9-1 win over Serbia and had his right thigh bandaged.
He lasted just six minutes into the second-half and was replaced by Tino Livramento. However, England Under-21 boss Carsley provided an update on Sunday afternoon. 'I think Cole would be fine, but we don’t take any chances with any of the players.
'If there is a slight doubt that they’re going to miss a game at the weekend, we get them back to the clubs as quickly as we can. 'We could’ve kept Cole here another day and see how it was, but we didn’t think it was right. Everyone else is fine, a few colds and sniffles,' Carsley said.
