A first half goal from Jarrod Bowen gave the Hammers all three points against Mikel Arteta's side at Emirates Stadium. Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly did received a red card during the encounter.

Reacting, Morgan, a die-hard Arsenal supporter, insisted that Arsenal's season is turning into an absolute horror story. 'Losing at home, down to ten men, any chance of the League rapidly disappearing,' Morgan wrote on X. 'This is turning into an absolute horror story. #afc.' 'What a f*cking shambles,' he added. Arsenal's next Premier League game is against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday. Arteta's side finished second in the last two seasons.
