Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer, has predicted the Premier League fixtures taking place this weekend. Arsenal will host Brighton on Saturday afternoon, while Leicester City will face Aston Villa. Manchester United will host Liverpool on Sunday and Chelsea will tackle Crystal Palace.
Providing his predictions, the Betfair Ambassador was quoted by Metro UK as saying: 'They will go to Arsenal full of confidence after the result last weekend too. I think Arsenal will have too much for Brighton in the end.' On the Leicester vs Aston Villa clash, Shearer said: 'I’ll go for an Aston Villa win.
Providing his prediction for West Ham vs Man City, the former England international added, 'I’ll go for an away win.' On the Man United vs Liverpool, he said: 'There’ll be goals in the game and I think it could be a score-draw at Old Trafford on Sunday.' Speaking on Chelsea vs Crystal Palace tie, he said: 'When you put all that together and the uncertainty around Palace, that’s why I am going for a home win.
