A member of the Enugu state Neighbourhood Watch Security, one Chibuzor Enekwe, popularly known as ‘Malaria’ has been arrested by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons and o
ther related offences for allegedly raping and impregnating a 13-year-old girl.
Chibuzor, a neighbourhood watch official in the Enugu North Local Government Area of the state was arrested on Friday.Sources told our correspondent that the mother of the alleged rapist who had three male children, usually send the girl to sell banana in the evenings and she usually return around 12 midnight.
Chibuzor was said to have taken the advantage of the girl’s late return and raped her every night until he got her pregnant.NAPTIP was said to have invited the alleged rapist and the mother and were arrested when they finally showed up on Friday.All rights reserved.
