Speaking with journalists on Sunday in Osogbo, Oyintiloye emphasized the urgent need for the President’s intervention due to the suffering Nigerians face almost monthly as a result of fuel scarcity .

While acknowledging the ongoing economic challenges, Oyintiloye stressed that inadequate fuel supply should not be added to the already tense situation. 'In recent months, Nigerians have faced severe difficulties obtaining petroleum products at filling stations across the country,' he noted. 'I appeal to the President to rescue Nigerians who are enduring immense hardship due to the fuel scarcity.
