The Nation Newspaper Electricity tariff: NLC, TUC picket NERC, EEDC offices in Abia
) and Trade Union Congress on Monday, May 13, joined their counterparts across the country to picket offices of electricity distribution companies and National Electricity Regulatory Commission in Umuahia, the state capital.
The sealing of the offices disrupted commercial and administrative activities at the two facilities picketed. The state NLC chairman, Comrade Okoro Ogbonnaya in a telephone chat with our correspondent said that their action was in complaint with the directives from the national of the workers unions.
