The Transmission Company of Nigeria has raised the alarm about a planned attack on its facility in the Zuba Area of the Federal Capital Territory amid an erratic electricity supply. Ndidi Mbah, the General Manager of Public Affairs at TCN, disclosed this in a statement over the weekend.

The company said aside from gas supply constraints, vandalism of its facility has been a significant challenge to electricity stability in Nigeria. Accordingly, TCN stressed that incidents of vandalism surged in the first quarter of 2024, which had disrupted transmission operations. TCN called on residents to be vigilant and report unsuspecting activities around critical power facilities to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. '...
