Briefing journalists on the Command’s preparedness towards Saturday’s elections, Muazu informed that the command had reviewed and redoubled its strategies to ensure the safety of Lagosians, even as he urged everyone, irrespective of his tribe to go out and exercise his civil responsibility come Saturday, without fear of harassment.
He said: “The incidents at Okota and Okokomaiko generated too much fake news which circulated on social media, about a planned attack on Igbo traders in Lagos , especially in Oshodi and other prominent markets by hoodlums. “Let me categorically state that those attacks were planned and orchestrated by miscreants, most of whom have been apprehended and are facing prosecution.
